The Direct Print and Scan for Mobile app by Canon enables Android tablet and phone users to print and scan documents seamlessly with Canon imageRUNNER and imageRUNNER ADVANCE multifunction printers (MFPs). Designed for enterprise environments, this app supports printing of email attachments and various file types including PDF, TXT, TIFF, and JPG directly from mobile devices to Canon MFPs. Users can also scan hard copy documents into their devices with options for color, resolution, page size, and file format, supporting PDF, JPEG, TIFF, XPS, and PPTX.

Please note, the app requires a licensed MEAP application installed on the Canon imageRUNNER / imageRUNNER ADVANCE device, which must be purchased separately through authorized dealers in the US and Canada. The app connects to the MFP via QR code scanning or manual connection code entry, streamlining mobile printing and scanning for on-the-go professionals. This ensures compatibility with the enterprise-class devices while facilitating efficient mobile workflows.
