## Description
The application "Discover Domfront" invites you to relive the highlights of the history of the castle and the medieval city of Domfront.
The tour of the castle (1 hour), accessible to disabled guests, will make you encounter characters that will immerse you in the past: the conquest of the region Domfront by William the Conqueror to extend the Duchy of Normandy, life in court of Eleanor of Aquitaine, the Chrétien de Troyes residence who wrote Lancelot, the knight to the cart here, episodes of the war of Hundred years ... From the top of the castle, enjoy a breathtaking panorama and a landscape actually increased on the reading Domfrontais and legendary sites of the Sword of Bridge and Bridge under Water.
In the city, the route of the city (1.2 km, 1 h), the sound scenes invite you to share the daily life in the Middle Ages: trade, craft, defense of the city ...
Below the ancient city at the foot of the rocks, along the banks of the river Varenne during a walk of 3.3 km (1 h 15), you will be plunged, as the nineteenth century traveler in the quaint atmosphere of rugged landscapes around Domfront, inspiration for painters and writers.
Over these three walks, hear all about Domfront theatrical skits, games and quizzes you reserve a fun visit. On site, the application can be downloaded from the Tourist Office of Domfront.
