## Description

The project main goal is to prepare the EU footwear sector with the necessary skills to embrace the challenge of the transition towards a sustainable, human-centric and resilient industry, transcending efficiency and productivity objectives.<br><br>The action is aligned with the EU Pact for Skills for the Textile, Clothing, Leather and Footwear sectors (EU TCLF Pact for Skills) to upskill/ reskill workers, allying benefits not only for workers, but also for the companies and society. The project outcomes will contribute to ensure that workers acquire the needed skills to support the green and digital transition in footwear factories across Europe.<br><br>The countries initially targeted are Italy, Portugal, Romania and Spain, and stakeholders from other EU countries will also be invited to participate at a lower scale.<br><br>Shoe 5.0 intends to make an additional step towards the digital transformation of footwear Vocational Education Training (VET) in Europe, and for that purpose, two main audiences will be particularly targeted and involved in the project activities:<br>	- Footwear workforce<br>	- VET teachers, trainers<br><br>The training are structured into 15 Units of Competence (UC)/ Units of Learning Outcomes (ULO).<br><br>With 64 lessons covering topics of significant relevance to Footwear Industry 5.0, each UC/ULO isassigned 4 micro-credentials, equivalent to 100 hours, including training and assessment.
