## Description

SmartCount is a stock counting mobile application developed by the Brown and Company Digital Transformation Team. This App use for annual stock count as well as perpetual stock count. Stock Counts are taken Warehouse/Location wise. The key features of this application are,<br><br>I. Initial synchronisation<br>II. Real time stock counting update<br>III. Location verification<br>IV. Offline stock taking facility<br>V. QR code scanning option<br>VI. Location switch<br>VII. Audit feature<br>VIII. Approval workflow<br>IX. SMS alerts<br>X. Multiple location views at once<br><br><br>There are key four roles in this application. They are namely,<br><br>I. Count Recorder<br>II. Warehouse Officer<br>III. Third Party Observer<br>IV. Auditor<br><br>Based on the logged-in role the user interface is changed.<br><br>The warehouse/Location can be mapped to multiple Count Recorders, one Warehouse Officer, multiple third-party observers, and Auditors.<br><br>The process starts with the Count Recorder, where Count Recorder has the facility to start the location and start counting. In the meantime, Warehouse Officer/Third Party Observer/Auditor can start the location and view the real-time counting updates. At the point of location start, the location pin will be checked.<br><br>At a given time, Count Recorder can start only one location whereas Warehouse Officer/Third Party Observer/Auditor can start multiple locations at a given time. Warehouse Officer/Third Party Observer/Auditor can switch the location and view the current update of each location. Also, a separate view is available for Warehouse Officer/Third Party Observer/Auditor to view all the variance items of all the active locations. Non-variance items are displayed in Green color and variance items are in Red color display in the screen.<br>Once the Count Recorder completed the counting in a location Count Recorder can submit the location. At this point, the system checks whether the Warehouse Officer of that location is started the location. In addition, the location submits feature is online. If the given validations are okay, the system allows Count Recorder to submit the location.<br><br>Until the Count Recorder submits the location, Warehouse Officer will not have the option to approve the location. There is no dependency on Third Party Observer or Auditor to approve the location.<br><br>All the submitted data are synced to the web backend for reporting purposes.
