“The Island Fox” is a creative game app that promotes free play. Without levels and rewards, different playgrounds can be discovered and played with using musical and graphic features.
The app works without explanatory texts, so that children can go on an intuitive, free-moving journey of discovery without instructions
can. You can compose music in the forest, discover animals from a perch through binoculars, or work freely on the shore of an island with sand, stones and sticks.
With their finger, children can intuitively determine where the journey should go. With the high seat, the meadow, the forest clearing and the island, there are several stages to choose from, which also create a reference to the island fox “children's short film”. This 8-minute non-verbal children's short film can also be accessed via the app. The app and film together form a unique cross-media gaming cosmos.
