It brings the paperwork, the roster, and the map into one place so an incident commander can run a callout and field members can see their assignment.

SARCOM requires an account and membership in a SAR team; it is a professional tool for organized search and rescue, not a consumer navigation app.

Location: SARCOM records your location in the background only while you are actively tracking a search, so Incident Command can see where you have covered. A notification is shown the entire time tracking is active.

There are no in-app purchases — team subscriptions are billed off-device.
