▸ THE WHIRLPOOL — draft the Whirlpool card and a well in the middle of the board pulls your balls in. Each ball hits harder the longer its chain runs, and crit numbers rise off the board.

▸ THE BOARD FIGHTS BACK — from the sixth floor of every chapter, the pegs you spend erode, and from chapter 3, pairs of pegs are wired into circuits that discharge straight through armour.
