## Review summary

Reviewers praise Bionic Reading for dyslexia accessibility and, when it works, faster reading and better visualization. The common complaints, however, overshadow the positives: high, subscription-based pricing with paywalls; frequent glitches and slow performance; difficulty unsubscribing and poor support; and restrictive usage limits behind pro (e.g., character and file size caps). Some users report compatibility issues with certain formats/devices (like Kindle). Overall, the app has meaningful potential, but execution and pricing concerns dominate user feedback.

### Pros

- Accessibility benefits for users with dyslexia, improving reading ability
- When it works, it speeds up reading and improves visualization
- Easy to use interface with simple input/copy

### Cons

- High, expensive subscription model with paywalls and perceived predatory pricing
- Frequent glitches, crashes, and slow performance; unreliable operation
- Difficulty unsubscribing and poor or unresponsive customer support
- Usage limits and gating behind Pro (character limits, file size limits, inability to trial features)
