## Review summary

Beckett Mobile is widely criticized for its expensive subscription model, with users calling it overpriced and often limited by a strict search quota. Many reviews also complain about auto-renewal and difficulty canceling. The app lacks core functionality such as submitting or scanning cards, and data quality is inconsistent—cards frequently not found or shown with missing prices. Users also report reliability issues: bugs, occasional server downtime, and intrusive location permissions. Overall, the value proposition seems misaligned with customer expectations, and support and usability issues amplify dissatisfaction.

### Pros

- Great for grading cards.
- As advertised!

### Cons

- Subscription price is excessively high; users deem it overpriced and not worth the value.
- Auto-renewal and cancellation are difficult or unavailable leading to unexpected charges.
- No option to submit/register cards or use camera to scan cards within the app.
- Data quality issues: many cards not found, missing prices or NA values.
- Frequent bugs, server downtime, and location permission prompts draining battery.
