## Review summary

Top recurring points: Android compatibility issues with older app builds and newer Android versions; inability to save videos or snapshots; inconsistent performance across devices; and delayed or unclear support/updates. Some users do report good image quality and ease of use when it works, but reliability and compatibility concerns dominate.

### Pros

- Clear picture and ease of use when the app functions
- Works on some devices, including older Android devices
- Relatively straightforward process to connect to the transmitter via Wi‑Fi and view the image at long range

### Cons

- App is built for an older version of Android and does not play well with newer versions (e.g., Android 14)
- Cannot record video or save snapshots in many cases (video saving errors reported)
- Slow or no timely updates from Caldwell; support frequently says they are working on it with no ETA
- Inconsistent performance across devices (works on some devices but not others, including certain Samsung models)
- Reliability issues such as the app not starting or crashing after updates
