## Description

DigitalCropSurvey Assam (DCS) is a Chrome extension built for on-site agricultural and non-agricultural plot surveys under the Agristack initiative. Surveyors can visit field locations and capture crop types, irrigation methods, plot attributes and GPS coordinates to produce accurate, geotagged farm records.

Designed to support government visibility into cropping patterns and irrigation adoption across Assam, DCS streamlines data collection for state-level analytics and planning. The extension simplifies field workflows, reduces manual errors, and helps build a comprehensive dataset for policy, resource allocation and agricultural monitoring.
