## Description

ARTEfac is an educational application offering the provision and consultation of multimedia training modules, especially in augmented reality.<br><br>Developed by a project team from Inspé (National Higher Institute for Teaching and Education), made up of research professors and study engineers attached to the ADEF Research Unit (Learning, Didactics, Evaluation, Training ), this application aims to improve the mastery of disciplinary and pedagogical knowledge of science and technology students.<br> <br>The use of augmented reality as a multimedia educational resource allows the superimposition of the real and the virtual within the same screen. It also allows users to interact with virtual objects that they can study and manipulate for as long as they want. Augmented reality then becomes a &quot;classic&quot; training medium in the same way as text, audio or video, already widely acclaimed in education, and can be integrated as such into any educational progression.<br> <br>The creation of the ARTEfac application, funded by the A * MIDEX foundation, Aix-Marseille University&#39;s initiative of excellence, participates in educational transformation projects, in close coordination between field players and research in educational innovation. It is also part of a Mobile Learning (or learning in mobility) approach now offered to students.
