The legal ruqyah means reciting the Qur’anic verses or the legal supplications with puffing on the place where the body is in pain (or on the patient to be ruqyah). The legal ruqyah is one of the common methods of treatment in the Arab and Islamic world. Legitimate texts have been received indicating that the legal ruqyah is proven in Islam, and it is preferable for a person to promote himself when it was proven that the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, was promoting himself. In return for his work, this matter is forbidden in Islam because of what it involves of deceiving people and exploiting their needs and the damages that cause that.
