Spirit Level for Camera is a free extension that ensures your phone camera is perfectly level before snapping photos. It uses your device's pitch and roll sensors to display horizontal and vertical green leveling lines, which you align to fixed white axes to maintain a straight camera angle. With support for both portrait and landscape previews, and the ability to flip the camera for selfies, it helps eliminate skewed images.

Once aligned, users can launch their native camera app directly through the extension to capture pictures using all familiar camera controls. The extension does not take photos itself, preserving your preferred camera app features. For device sensor calibration, offset numbers are provided, and users can submit their device make and model for improved future support.
