Turtle Walk

During the months of January to April, the Olive Ridley turtles in the Tamil Nadu coastal area nest on beaches every night. In order to protect and preserve the turtle population, the Tamil Nadu Forest Department collects the eggs and transports them to hatcheries for incubation. The TN Turtle Walk app allows department officials to track and record this process, enabling them to effectively monitor and address any environmental challenges facing these turtles.
