Deleted Messages: View & Save uses Android's Notification Access to read incoming WhatsApp notifications. Each new message is saved locally on your phone. When media (photos, videos, voice notes) arrives, the app saves a copy from your WhatsApp media folder. If the sender later deletes the message or media, your saved copy stays in the app β no backup, no cloud sync, no root needed.
This approach to WhatsApp recovery means there is nothing to scan, no database to access, and no data leaves your device.
