## Description

**Alerta Pilar** is a dedicated panic button Chrome extension designed for residents of the Municipality of Pilar, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It enables registered users to immediately send emergency alerts to the Municipal Operations Center (COM), ensuring a quick and effective response to urgent situations. The application automatically transmits the user's geolocation and registered data to the operations center for rapid assistance.

In non-emergency cases, users can manually provide location details and descriptive information. This app complements traditional emergency services and is not a replacement for calling 911. Users must register before using the alert system. Please note that app performance depends on active internet connectivity and the accuracy of device geolocation. Alerta Pilar is powered by Smart City, enhancing local safety through technology.
