However, localization is the main barrier: no English UI or translations, and English support is frequently requested. Functionality issues include template-related network errors and device compatibility problems (e.g., film mode black screens, no flash on some devices, root/Rom issues). Updates sometimes alter the UI or remove favored filters, forcing users to relearn. Overall, core features are good, but localization and reliability problems limit usability. ### Pros - High‑quality photo output and strong editing tools/filters - Good customization options for selfies and editing controls - Generally highly regarded with a long‑standing positive reputation in its category ### Cons - Language barrier: no English UI available; app defaults to Chinese/Korean - No English subtitles or translations; users request English language support - Template feature triggers network errors despite good internet - Device compatibility issues: film camera often shows black screen; some devices lack flash (e.g., Samsung A52); may not run on rooted/custom ROMs - Updates can change the UI or remove familiar filters, requiring relearning ## Similar extensions and apps - [CameraX Selfie](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.twentythreebytes.calculatorscientific) — 637,613 users - [Beauty Camera](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.adnonstop.beautyCamera) — 576,153 users, 4.51 / 5 - [SpaceCam](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.spacecam.sheng) — 85 users - [BeautyCam](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.satt.ui.shue.beautycam) — 9,565 users - [Beauty Camera & Makeup Stylist](https://chrome-stats.com/d/sweet.selfie.beauty.camera.ar) — 8,668,282 users, 4.51 / 5 - [Beauty Camera X, Selfie Camera](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.camera.x) — 9,728,486 users, 4.75 / 5 - [XCamera：AI Face](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.beautynice.sweethoney.camera) — 7,162 users, 4.33 / 5 - [Selfie Camera](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.moviemaker.selficamera) — 180,752 users - [HD Camera: Selfie & Beauty](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.hdcamera.selfiebeauty.editor) — 5,633 users - [Beauty Camera with PhotoEditor](https://chrome-stats.com/d/beauty.camera.photo.editor) — 13,874,418 users, 4.59 / 5 - [BeautyPlus-Selfie Photo Editor](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.commsource.beautyplus) — 508,066,347 users, 4.54 / 5 - [makeup plus beauty selfie](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.beautystudioapps.makeupplusbeautyselfie) — 1,465 users --- Source: [Chrome-Stats](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.adnonstop.mancamera2017)
