## Review summary

Users appreciate the motivational aspects and the weight tracking via connected scales of the Newtopia app. However, many experience frustrating bugs such as persistent update notifications with no actual updates, sync failures with fitness trackers, frequent app crashes, and poor user interface design. These issues hamper usability, leading to frustration with activities like tracking weight, logging meals, and resetting passwords. While the core weight loss program is valued, the app's technical flaws and limited functionality reduce its overall effectiveness.

### Pros

- The app supports connection to weight scales, allowing weight tracking.
- It provides an inspirational platform to encourage health and weight loss.
- The underlying weight loss program itself is well-liked by some users despite app issues.

### Cons

- The app suffers from frequent update notification bugs, showing update prompts with no available updates, making the app unusable at times.
- Syncing issues are common; the app often fails to sync with fitness trackers like Fitbit and Google Fit, and data synchronization is slow or inaccurate.
- The app crashes or closes unexpectedly when switching between apps or after inactivity, causing loss of progress or login sessions.
- User interface and functionality problems include difficulty deleting incorrect weight entries, limited compatibility with activity trackers, missing nutritional info in recipes, and poor multitasking support.
- Password and login issues, including inability to reset passwords properly due to app closing during the reset process, are reported.
