Trying to meditate, but your mind keeps wandering around?
When you just get started, it can be hard to keep your mind focused!
MindTicker is a multi level timer that can periodically give you an auditory or tactile reminder to keep your mind from wandering too long!
Whatever meditation method you choose, you may need a little help when you just get started.
It should be particularly helpful when you practice Anapanasati (mindfulness with breating) or Satipatthana (mindfulness meditation).
It features three reminder levels, each with a distinctive auditory and/or tactile signature. Each reminder can be adjusted according to how far you’ve progressed in your practice.
The first level reminder comes with a faint “tick” sound with an adjustable period.
The second level reminder comes with a faint water drop sound that occurs when after a certain number (adjustable) of first level reminders.
The third level reminder comes with a faint chime sound that occurs when after a certain number (adjustable) of second level reminders.
