However, negative feedback centers on a new subscription/paywall model and pervasive ads, including intrusive pop-ups. Additional concerns include reliability/compatibility issues after updates, offline data limitations (elevation data requiring internet), and watch-face/language prompts that hinder usability. ### Pros - Rich feature set and versatility across multiple devices - Easy to navigate and user-friendly - Very useful for outdoor/off-road navigation - Generally positive sentiment with reviews calling it excellent or very nice ### Cons - Subscription model with ads and paywalls, including intrusive ads after actions - Ads persist after subscribing and some users feel charged for features that should be included - Reliability/compatibility issues after updates, including breaking changes - Offline limitations for elevation data and data requiring internet - Watch integration bugs and other monetization-related frustrations (e.g., language prompts blocking progress) ## Similar extensions and apps - [GPS Smart Tools](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.darkcube.gpssmarttools) — 508 users - [Location Tracker & GPS Tools](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.appmaker.locationtracker) — 1,531,481 users, 4.29 / 5 - [GPS Maps Tools, Live Navigatio](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.mnx.gps.tools.areacalcultor) — 615 users - [GPS Toolkit – GNSS](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.twixtech.gpstoolkit) — 1,246 users - [GPS Smart Tools](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.juli96.armycompassproversion) — 2,359 users - [GPS Location Tracker & Compass](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.sfg.gps.cam) — 377 users - [Smart GPS Tools: Pro Bundle](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.zepyur.smartgpstools) — 2,564 users - [My Location & Travel Tools](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.appmaker.userlocation) — 3,053,773 users, 4.69 / 5 - [Compass Map & GPS Tool](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.summersun.gpstools.compass) — 3,931 users - [GPS Maps and Travel Tools](https://chrome-stats.com/d/gps.maps.traffic.routes.travel.tools.free) — 79,579 users, 4.28 / 5 - [Satellite Info: GPS Tools](https://chrome-stats.com/d/gps.info.map.satellite.info) — 110 users - [GPS Tools – All Tools](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.gpstools.maps.navigation.weather.worldmap) — 17,020 users, 4.09 / 5 --- Source: [Chrome-Stats](https://chrome-stats.com/d/com.VirtualMaze.gpsutils)
