## Description

RIDcontrol™ is an app that can be used to remotely control, manage and configure Radionuclide Identifying Devices (RID)&#39;s of the Target F501 device class. The app is only useful in combination with a compatible RID (see below). Without such hardware, the app is useless.<br><br>TECHNICAL CONCEPT<br>RIDcontrol™ initially connects to a RID via Bluetooth. This Bluetooth connection is used exclusively to connect the RID to the local network or the Wi-Fi hotspot provided by the cell phone. If this connection is established, RIDcontrol™ connects to the RID via this local network. Now pages provided by the internal web server of the RID are displayed in the app. These are special versions of pages that can also be reached via the web interface of the RID.<br><br>COMPATIBLE DEVICES<br>Compatible devices are at the time of writing: <br>    Target F501<br>    CAEN DiscoveRAD <br>    Graetz RadXplore-ident<br><br>WHAT IS RIDCONTROL FOR?<br>This is what RIDcontrol™ can do among many other things:<br>    Remote control and monitoring of a RID<br>    Setting up a Wi-Fi connection to a local network for the RID <br>    Download data from the RID<br>        Identifications<br>        Dose rate alarms <br>        Neutron alarms <br>        Personal hazard alarms <br>        Session data<br>    Configure all RID settings <br>        Operator settings<br>        Expert settings<br>        Nuclide settings<br>        Connection settings <br>        Settings administration<br>    Firmware updates
