Strong Youth App

The Strong Youth App is a companion app for high school sports teams as a part of the BYU Strong Youth Project. Athletes submit anonymous surveys about their pain, hydration, practice readiness, mental health, and other key performance indicators. Coaches and other authorized practitioners review team reports to stay informed about the overall health and needs of their teams.

Strong Youth Project Mission and Aims

Mission: Improve organized sport experiences for youth, parents, and coaches, via education and implementation of evidence-based practice.

Aim 1: Communicate scientific evidence to youth sports stakeholders, including youth athletes, concerning factors affecting the quality of youth sport experiences.

Aim 2: Conduct scientific research regarding issues influencing youth sport experiences.

Aim 3: Design and deliver evidence-based training programs to youth athletes.
