## Description

The FUTUR 21 app is a digital extension of the »FUTUR 21 – art industry culture« catalogue. Selected content is brought to life using augmented reality – videos and 3D objects offer additional insights into the artistic works presented in the catalogue.<br><br>How can industrial museums become places of critical exchange about future topics?<br><br>Which common narratives need to be questioned and further developed?<br><br>What role can art play in the reorientation of industrial culture?<br><br>These were the key questions of the &quot;FUTUR 21 - art industry culture&quot; project, which took place between November 2021 and April 2022 at the 16 industrial museums of the regional associations of Rhineland and Westphalia-Lippe and included a conference and a media art festival with temporary and permanent works of art.<br> <br>The publication brings science and art together. Impulses for a new industrial culture are negotiated in ten specialist contributions. The volume also provides an overview of the festival&#39;s artistic works. The publication is expanded by AR interventions by the artist duo Refrakt.<br><br>The »FUTUR 21 – art industry culture« catalog has been published by Wienand Verlag.
