KAPUSH

KAPUSH is an earned wage access platform that lets employers offer staff on-demand access to wages already earned, delivered via a mobile app and USSD. Disbursements occur instantly through MPESA, with repayments automatically deducted from the next payroll, and employee data kept private within the employing organization.

How it works: Employers sign an MOU with KAPUSH, configure advance limits from payroll funds, and employees request access to earned wages. If approved, funds are paid via MPESA and repaid through automatic payroll deductions on the selected cycle (daily, biweekly, or monthly). Employee fees are zero, while employers may configure a facility fee up to 15% APR. Privacy: KAPUSH does not share employee financial data with credit bureaus or third parties outside the employing organization.
