This is abandoned! This extension was originally protest-ware to the original creator of the extension due to them selling it and the company making it closed source. I no longer really use ChatGPT myself, so this project has sat abandoned.

This project is a fork of the ChatGPT for Google extention which you can download at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/chatgpt-for-google/. That project has been aqured as of 2023-02-20 according to their github page at https://github.com/wong2/chatgpt-google-extension.

This project aims to be a revival of the original FOSS project and adds some extra engine support like SearX and SearXNG. We also plan on adding support for you to add your own search engines later down the road. All source to the project can be found at https://gitlab.com/coolGi/chatgpt-search-extension.
