Bufferfix on Blocked Twitch Ad

Fixes playback being stuck buffering on blocked (mid-roll) ads on Twitch. (check Details)

Important The script is optimized for the issue of being stuck loading/buffering when your uBlock Origin with the vaft script of TwitchAdSolutions starts blocking mid-roll ads on Twitch live streams. I did not test other Adblocks. Turn off if watching VODs or broadcasts that don't support 'low latency' - You can toggle the script on/off by clicking on the extension in the toolbar.

How it works: It will simply 'pause and play' automatically if more than 3.5 seconds of buffering is detected so you don't have to do it manually.

Again, the extension will not work properly and/or is not recommended if: - The Twitch channel you're watching does not provide a 'Low latency setting (some broadcasters don't use it and therefore allow that setting, but most streamers do, it also may create too many 'false flags' if your latency in general is high even with the setting on) - you only watch VODs - you don't have the 'stuck buffering' issue with your adblock

Disclaimer: I used ChatGPT to help write this extension. I adapted and changed code accordingly and tested it, but I cannot promise that it will work for everyone like it does for me. The reason I wanted to create this extension is because I often do something else while watching/listening to a Twitch live stream and suddenly playback stops for the whole duration of blocked mid-roll ads.

Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypassing your security settings, and accessing your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.
