Breadcrumbus is a Chrome extension that transforms the addresses of your active tabs into easily navigable breadcrumbs. By breaking down the URL into segments such as host, path, search, and hash components, it provides clickable links that let you quickly navigate to parent directories or sections of the website. For example, a URL like `https://blog.mozilla.org/blog/2017/06/13/faster-better-firefox` is parsed into breadcrumbs like `blog.mozilla.org`, `blog`, `2017`, `06`, `13`, and `faster-better-firefox` — clicking any of these navigates the tab accordingly.

You can open the breadcrumb panel by clicking the extension’s icon or by using the shortcut CTRL + ,. The appearance is customizable, allowing you to display breadcrumbs horizontally, vertically, or in both styles. Breadcrumbus enhances tab navigation efficiency by giving you instant access to intermediate URL paths through a clean and intuitive interface.
