Bang Startpage is a focused Firefox new-tab page for keyboard-first browsing. Search with customizable bangs, save local bookmarks, personalize widgets and themes, and review private local bang history. Queries go directly to your selected provider.

Bang Startpage is a lightweight, keyboard-first new-tab page for Firefox.

Type a query and press Enter to search. Use customizable bang shortcuts to route a query directly to a selected search engine or website. The bang trigger can be changed to symbols such as <code>@</code>, <code>/</code>, <code>!</code>, <code>#</code>, or <code>$</code>.

Use <code>@config</code> to enter to the configuration options.

Settings, bangs, Pocket items, and bang history are stored locally in the browser.

Bang Startpage does not use analytics or upload local settings, bookmarks, or history to a developer-controlled server. When you explicitly submit a search or bang, the query is sent directly to the search provider or destination selected by you. Those services process requests according to their own privacy policies.
