## Description

arxiv-utils improves your ArXiv reading workflow by automatically renaming PDF page titles to the paper title, adding a navigation button and hotkey (Alt+A) to jump between PDF and abstract pages, and offering direct downloads with meaningful filenames. It also provides quick links to extra services (e.g., ar5iv), better bookmarks and compatibility with native tab search and other plugins to keep your tabs and bookmarks readable and searchable.

The extension documents required permissions (tabs, activeTab, downloads, webRequest/webRequestBlocking, bookmarks, storage, contextMenus) and uses a PDF container when needed to enable title renaming and safe downloads. Works across ArXiv, OpenReview and related sites, and is designed for Chrome/Firefox users who want cleaner filenames, easier navigation, and smoother tab management for academic papers.
