## Description

I am a professional gardener and experienced allotment holder. To help my work, I wanted to find a way to easily save information on plants I come across in gardens I work in, or discover when visiting gardens.<br><br>The original idea was to create a personal book of plants that I could refer back to when searching for plants for specific purposes, like seasonal colour or planting position, and to help me learn the names of plants.<br><br>The app started as a personal project, but I thought it may be useful to others too. I hope it may help gardeners find plants to grow in their garden or allotment, with accompanying growing information for each plant. Gardeners can save plants they like to their favourites.<br><br>The app includes a wide range of both ornamental and edible plants. <br><br>Ornamental plants are organised into collections, making it easy to find plants for specific purposes like seasonal colour, strongly scented, or suitable for shade.
