Monitor nearby magnetic signals with live readings, visual radar feedback, peak tracking, sound alerts, vibration and adjustable sensitivity. Whether you are exploring magnetic objects, searching for lost metal items or experimenting with your phone’s magnetic sensor, Gold Detector gives you clear real-time information in an easy-to-use interface.

REAL-TIME METAL DETECTOR

Use your phone’s magnetometer to monitor changes in the surrounding magnetic field. Watch live signal strength in microtesla (µT) and quickly notice stronger magnetic activity around nearby objects.

SMART SIGNAL RADAR

See magnetic activity on an intuitive radar-style display. Signal strength updates as you move your phone, making scanning simple and visual.

MULTIPLE SCAN MODES

Choose the scanning experience that works for you:

• Prospector mode
• Black Sand mode
• Deep Scan mode

Adjust sensitivity to control when the detector reacts to magnetic-field changes.

SIGNAL ALERTS

Get immediate feedback when magnetic activity increases:

• Sound alerts
• Vibration alerts
• Visual signal warnings
• Peak magnetic-field tracking

MAGNETOMETER & EMF READINGS

View magnetic-field measurements in µT and mG and monitor changes from your device’s magnetic sensor.

FAST CALIBRATION

Follow the guided figure-8 calibration process to improve sensor stability before scanning.

SAVE YOUR SCANS

Review previous detection sessions with peak values, duration and sample information. Your scan history makes it easy to compare past magnetic readings.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR DETECTOR

Configure sensitivity, sound, vibration, sensor rate and measurement units to create the detection setup that suits you.

Gold Detector can be useful for:

• Exploring nearby magnetic and metallic objects
• Finding certain lost metal items
• Monitoring magnetic-field changes
• Magnetometer experiments
• EMF and magnetic sensor demonstrations
• Treasure-hunting activities and outdoor exploration
• Learning how your phone’s magnetic sensor works

HOW IT WORKS

The app uses the magnetometer available in supported Android phones. Move your device slowly around the area you want to scan and watch for changes in magnetic-field strength.

For best results, calibrate your sensor and remove magnetic phone cases or accessories before scanning.

IMPORTANT

A smartphone magnetometer measures magnetic fields and responds best to magnetic or ferromagnetic materials such as iron and steel. Gold, silver, copper and other non-ferromagnetic metals cannot be reliably identified specifically by a phone magnetometer. This app is a sensor-based utility and is not a replacement for professional metal or gold-detection equipment.
