Lollipop Cannon opens with a privacy policy screen, after which the player is prompted to allow notifications, and the system takes them to the main menu. In Lollipop Cannon, candies, lollipops, stars, or other brightly colored objects fall from above, and the player controls a cannon or ball, directing the shots along the desired trajectory. Each knocked-down object earns points, and the pace of the game gradually accelerates. The flow of objects becomes denser, the reaction distance shortens, and each accurate shot feels like a small victory. If the player misses an object, one life is lost. Three lives are available. After the third mistake, Lollipop Cannon displays a round-ending screen and prompts you to try again.
