## Description

**Tint Meter: Window Tint** uses your Android device’s ambient light sensor to estimate car window tint darkness and visible light transmission (VLT). Compare readings with the window up and down to measure transparency in tinted glass and other semi-transparent materials.

The app offers a simple interface, works on compatible Android devices with a light sensor, and is free with no in-app purchases. Results are estimates only and may vary by device, sensor placement, lighting, and measurement technique. Tint Meter is not a certified instrument and should not be used for legal, regulatory, insurance, law-enforcement, or professional certification purposes.
