Canvas Blocker - Fingerprint Protect is a lightweight Chrome extension designed to safeguard your online privacy by preventing HTML canvas fingerprinting. It adds slight noise to canvas-generated data, making your browser's unique identification through canvas scripts ineffective. Unlike other similar tools, it offers minimal impact on performance while blocking fingerprinting across all frame elements, including top and subframes.

The extension supports three operation modes: Random noise, per-session noise for consistent identity within a session, and fixed noise for a persistent unique identity. Additional features include selective blocking on certain hostnames, notifications when canvas fingerprinting is detected, and compatibility with cross-origin and sandboxed iframes (such as Disqus and Hangouts). Use this extension alongside an ad blocker for enhanced privacy protection.
